Tiny pretty things in life lost meaning in Serena's eyes. No amount of glitter could give the world a glow. The light of the world had vanished, leaving her in complete darkness.

A darkness that Serena embraced with open arms. Sadness had overtaken her heart and mind. Leaving no room for love or happiness. Her heart frozen.

Serena was doing all she could to detach herself from the world. She sat in her car staring out the window at the world.

People going about their business happily made her want to puke. It was unfair that the smile on her face was wiped off when other people are granted the opportunity to smile to no ends.

"We've arrived Madam."

Serena heard from the driver. The door was opened for her, without hesitation Serena stepped down from the car.

She stood outside a luxurious restaurant. One of the many she owned. For a business meeting, she sighed.
