Chapitre 99: Lucked out

A dark room.

Red tint in my vision.

My hands and body ached as the chains holding me up against the wall coiled around my arms.

"Gahh..." A weak groan sounded in the room.

"Motherfucker. This guy just keeps doing that shit with his mouth, huh?" I said and spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Oh, you up, boss?" A cheery voice called out. Across from me was Alex, held up against the wall with thick chains on his arms and legs. Both of our bindings had suction magic engraved on them. Our cover was still up. His clothes were ragged, and his body was riddled with wounds. I turned my head to the right and met a gruff, bearded man drenched in his own blood. His mouth foamed, and his lifeless eyes stared at the grimy, dirty torture cell.

"He's bouta die."

"No shit. He must have made quite a few enemies."
