[Morning. Residential.
Xeonodan. Kapustin Illych]
"Sir, we'll be starting with an inspection of the monster textile factory," my secretary informed me. She was a young girl I kept around for various reasons, and she stuck around for her own ambitions. "What happened to the dungeon? Did the Thunder Knights tend to it?" I asked.
"Of course, sir. The Thunder Knights aren't currently in the capital. They are celebrating their perfect run."
"They had another perfect run? Haha! There is no chance of any outbreaks then!"
"Yes, sir. With just one more perfect run, the Thunder Knights will join the top leagues amongst the world's battle forces."
"That's great! That's great!" I smacked my leg and the seat of the car in glee. This was indeed great! Just how far will this country go under my lead?
Soon, we arrived at the factory. This building, still under construction, will be the largest government-owned factory in all of Xeonodan. "So, which bastard is managing things here?" I asked my secretary. The supervisor of the place called in sick this morning. He was working late at night and fell sick. Useless bum! I should change the supervisor! He should greet me even if he is sick!
At least the head engineer had enough manners. The old man, who looked like he was in his 70s, came over and bowed to me. Does this man know anything about engineering?
"Please, Mr. President. This way," said the old man in his shaky voice.
"Yes, chief engineer. I really appreciate the work you do here," I replied in my business voice. People are so gullible!
We went inside the factory. The place was laden with pillars of wood and steel. The outside was covered with sheets of asbestos and hid the construction site. My secretary looked around the place with a notepad in her hands. The old engineer showed her around as he said things he didn't understand himself.
She kept ticking things in her notepad as we went through the factory. Various state-of-the-art equipment was being installed everywhere in the large factory. I felt one of the wood pillars keeping up the general structure. It was oddly soggy; it didn't even rain yesterday? Well, the old man aside, I am sure the engineers know what they are doing! Haha.
"Hm? Did something click just now?" My secretary mumbled.
"Whatever do you mean? This is a construction site! Of course, things will click, haha!"
"Alright then... Well, sir. Have you seen everything? We should leave by your schedule now."
"Of course. Let's get going. Thank you for showing us around, head engineer. Please keep doing a great job." After giving the man some lip service, we started walking out. I think I heard someone click their tongue, but that was probably my imagination.
CRASH!!!
Dust and smoke rose in the air. I turned my head and saw the roof of the factory fallen on the ground. The wooden pillar had broken! Unbelievable! Such carelessness in my country!!
No one at the site escaped a harsh lashing out. Scared? Me? Of course not! Why would it fall on me? Haha!!

After staying there for a little longer, we left the factory. It pushed my schedule back a little, but I could always cancel on those nameless nitwits my stupid child befriended.
"Aren't there a lot more people than usual?" I asked my secretary. She suspiciously eyed the surrounding crowd.
"They look like they are running away?" She said. How stupid! What would my people run from?
"You say the stupidest things!" I lashed out at her. Instead of lowering her head and apologizing, she shot me a wink. Hah, very well. I'll be punishing you later, haha!
We got in the car and moved through the enormous crowd. There truly was an odd tension in the air. Regardless, the security here is top-notch! There shall be no problems!
