Chapitre 240: Chapter 240: He hasn't started

"You can't be serious. You're asking me to stay out of the battle that will decide the fate of this world?" Lilith couldn't believe what Atlas was saying. 

Instead of staying out himself, he was asking her to stay out.

"Luna is already staying behind with a few of our men to keep an eye on Misella, who won't be joining the battle. The two will be safe here, and if you also stay behind, you can also stay safer," Lucifer tried to explain, even though it wasn't easy. 

"Who says I want to stay safe? Even everyone is putting their lives on the line, including you; how can I stay behind and just watch? I'm not a kid who can't protect myself."

Even though Lilith was somewhat glad that Atlas was considering her safety, she was upset as well that she was being told to stay back as if she was a kid who couldn't protect herself. She had fought so many wars, even the last war with the Empire. She survived so much. She deserved to be there.
