Chapitre 156: Undeserving

We ran back like there was fire chasing us.

I overheard the conversation Connor had with Herbert and knew he was willingly about to take over his fathers' pack again, I didn't feel much about it, only that it saved my breath.

Liam who was heavily involved in the mayhem of Montana had to stick by until I figured out what to do with him. He kept to himself and left a safe distance between us, I wasn't hiding my hostile vibes that made it clear I wanted him at arm's length, nothing closer nothing further away than that. He tagged along silently.

Traveling with the world's most vicious monsters allowed me to draw a cohesive comparison between vampires and werewolves then quickly finding them too similar for that. Connor and Liam's speed matched my knight's, and I ran according to their pace.

Mark was leading my claimed ones back to Anchorage and they should arrive a day or so after us.

The road flew away beneath our feet.
