Chapitre 93: Sudden Rift

Irene nervously darted her eyes on Valerie who is equally shocked as well. Then, Irene caught sight of Amiel holding a bouquet of flowers behind the group of reporters in front of her.

His eyes screamed sadness and are full of questions. It hurt Irene to see him like that. Apparently, a few minutes after the contract signing started, a few pictures of her going inside Haru's penthouse unit circulated online.

Irene's breathing became unsteady as her body begins to shake so bad and her head spinning while still looking at Amiel with sad eyes. That was the last thing she saw until everything around her swirled and turned black.

It was just like a short moment in time. The next thing Irene knew is that she is laying down on a hospital bed. Valerie and Amiel are both sitting by her side.

"How are you feeling?" Valerie immediately asks the moment she saw Irene open her eyes.
