Bahlam stayed in contact with his cousin until he knew they were far away enough not to get injured. However, the mood in the dining room remained solemn. Saraquel stared at the digital nap Lifen had accessed on her tablet. Even if his line of defense fell, the seals in The Underworld and in The Heaven still existed, right? It was the very reason three realms were created: redundancy. The archangel touched his blighted face and cursed. What did Lucifer expect he'd do once awakened? All he specialized in was creating smoke and mirrors. 

Meanwhile, Lifen had hurried down to the village to roll out the first use of their safety system. Coordinating her men and the island's inhabitants came as a challenge, showing how ill-prepared everyone was. Nevertheless, she kept a cool head and helped wherever possible. Moments like these made the Kelpies appreciate Lifen's presence. Just like Bahlam, she wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty.
