Chapitre 111: Cursed Chords [Past]

Dubhán had slowly gotten used to the everlasting darkness surrounding him. The pack members had kindly pitched in and gifted him a light alarm clock and installed artificial windows in his room that emulated the sun's rotation around the world. 

"Morning, Dubhán!" 

"Mornin'!" 

"Good morning Dubhán! "

"Hey, Dubhán, how's it going?" 

Upon his arrival and the surprising announcement that he was Sloth's mate, the pack members had initially not welcomed him. But the Fae managed to spread kindness and love, and soon, everyone warmed up to him. 

Two strong hands pulled him into a niche as he whistled a tune walking down the hall. Before he knew it, he was trading breaths passionately. Eventually, he peeled himself away. 

"Leofstan," Dubhán softly whispered to the elf who was caressing his cheek. "We have to stop this."

"Come on, how often do I have to tell you it's no secret here. Even Famke knows." He scoffed.
