Chapitre 85: The Construction Site

Ruby had escaped. Yet again. She was as slippery as an eel, slithering back into shadowy waters. 

Eros sighed. He was both relieved and angry. However, with Coral's hug, relief took over. 

"I'm glad you're okay," she said, fixing his pants to the crowd's amusement. 

Eros chuckled and petted her head. "I am happy, too, that being your Alpha comes with an automatic cock block. My best friend wouldn't want to go anywhere near her anyway."

Coral blushed. "I… I di-didn't mean it that way," she stammered. 

"Oh yes, you did." Eros swooped her into his arms. "Let's use the opportunity to clean up your home, shall we? Your sister will eventually come at us again so that we can give her a proper welcome." 

Coral nodded, resting her head against his shoulder. He then carried her out, followed by the reformed guards. 

Outside, there was a commotion. Some of Heng's men approached the couple.
