Chapitre 59: Rescue team

He held her so close to his heart. Actually, she was the one that needed it.

She had missed him so much.

Once again, her guess was correct.

She has sent the men with her to look for the rest of the team. And she's been with Max since then.

She doesn't want to tell him Ian lied against him, it would involve Jake and she feared he might hate Jake for the rest of his life. And no matter what, Jake is someone he should keep close. If he loves her, he would learn to love Jake too.

She just prayed Jake would try to forget about everything and get along with Max.

"Is there something on your mind?" Max asked as they lay naked on the floor. Max was still unhealed. His left leg was broken and needed some time to heal up. Aside from that, he was completely fine. Also, as she had guessed, he had grown stronger.

"No. I was just thinking about the future," Jessica looked up at him from his chest. She ran his chest slightly, "There's something I'm not telling you."
