"Han Chunhee!"

The voice caused Chunhee to startle and he felt himself jump. His eyes became even wider as he saw Hwang Jichen start to approach him.

Chen stared at Chunhee, eyes showing no hint of humor as he waved the white piece of paper in his hand. "Explain yourself. What exactly were you trying to say here?"

Chunhee took a few steps back and peered around. Crap! Why were those officials taking so long? Had they not realized that Chunhee was on the verge of being beaten up at this very moment?

Chunhee murmured, trying to hide the truth, "It just came to mind for some reason. It was just a momentary lapse in concentration... My memories blend the current with the past. I-I didn't mean to put your name in there, I'm sure of it!"

Chen slowed to a stop. "Oh. Really?"

Chunhee gave him a sidelong glance and replied, "Y-yeah..."

There was no way Chen could easily believe that, right?
