Chapitre 25: Chapter 25 - Painful Encounter

The room was dark. Dark clouds had covered the entire night sky, not leaving a single star behind, engulfing the moon. With my abilities, I could see acceptably, even in the dark.

I hastily took a look at the entire room for Xavier. I had already forbidden everyone to come within the chamber's radius. My eyes fell on the corner by the fireplace. I could see Xavier's perfectly shaped back, curled up, facing the wall.

"Please, don't come near, Alessandra," Xavier said in a husky voice. I paused for a moment. Xavier would rarely call me by my name.

His back was slowly shifting into his wolf form, which he was struggling to suppress.

"My Lord, you don't look fine. I will summon the oracles right away," I said worryingly, taking tiny steps near him.

Though he had ordered me not to get closer, I could not leave him alone like that.
