Rhea agreed to visit the cathedral the next day and look at the artifacts.
That night, supper was a loud affair as most of the crew sat at the Mordhas’ dining room table for supper.
“Oh yeah!” Andrew said joyously. “Venison!”
The group chatted amiably with their hosts, talking about the day’s events and discussing what secrets the ground had yet to reveal. Since tomorrow was a day off for all, everyone was sharing their plans.
Rhea mentioned she was going to visit the cathedral the next day to see if she could find Amara’s ring.
Stephen sat up, still chewing his food, “Who? What ring?”
“Oh,” Rhea thought quickly. “The mother has this special ring on in one of the paintings. Arras said it was a special ring, so maybe we should keep our eyes open. It would be quite the event to reunite a family heirloom with a member of the family.”
Rhea looked over at Brennus, who winked.
“Paintings?” Elisa asked.
‘I have to be careful,’ Rhea thought. ‘I have to keep Arras’ secrets.”
