Owen's POV

I stood by the tree, Xavier was sitting on my shoulder, his never ending curiosity about the wild keeping him occupied in the forest.

A question prowled through my mind.

Was this moment of pure joy worth the pain of my life?

It is a good question, isn't it?

If I could do it all over again, Will I choose a different path or will I leave things exactly as they were?

It was a big question to answer and to buy time, I focused on what was in front of me.

Two people fought fiercely in the forest. One, dressed in black shirt and pants. The other in red clothes and they fought with different weapons without mercy.

Their faces were wrapped with black veils and the fight looked like it had gone on for a long time yet nobody was defeated and nobody surrendered.
