Chapitre 40: You’re Mine Alone

Reed was restless. Emy's neck wound is still there, although Reed has used his healing power multiple times. To save Emy, Reed needs Maria or Devin's help. He had been strolling back and forth around the room earlier. Maria had not yet returned, and as he stared at his wristwatch, Emy knew he had to heal his wound before the vampire saliva spread to his blood and infected his entire body.

Reed took a deep breath. "Damn it!" He approached Emy and sat on the bed, continuously removing vampire saliva with black smoke, but nothing happened.

"Damn it! Damn, it!" Reed continues to curse.

"Hmmm, you seem furious!" Devin said.

Reed turned to face Devin. He approached Emy and looked at her. "Why are you so upset when she's simply sleeping?" Devin asked.
