Being a human meant he was weak, pathetic. 'Don't... she is human...', he reminded himself about Delina's nature. No matter if she had magic, she was still human and because of those thoughts he lost her in the first place. If he had not played that stupid contempt in his head, he would have never rejected her and lost her. Now, they would be together, making puppies. 

Kraig, as a werewolf, was used to waking up and being practically healed of any injuries, as he shared Alpha blood. However, being human, he couldn't heal easily.

"You'd better lie down," said Moira, "your wounds will open up all over again, and in case you haven't noticed, I can't offer you many resources."
