Chapitre 9: Shocked and pained
"I demand you release my sister you demon of an alpha" I shouted with my strength.
The wolf's bane is eating up my strength and making me dizzy but I want to show him I'm an alpha too. I didn't even see anything special about him. He's not even looking like a true alpha.
The beta gave me a confused look. "Where is the alpha?" He asked.
"He's talking to me?" The demon alpha replied
This got me also confused.
"Why is he referring to you as the alpha?" He asked the one I assumed to be the alpha.
My proposed demon alpha laughed. "I was the one the alpha sent to go visit them so they all thought I was the alpha because I didn't introduce myself" he said mockingly.
It was like a brick was hit on my head. So the one who snapped my father who is an Alpha's neck is not even a beta. This is so shameful. I could see the shock on Alec's face and I know the rest of the men would also feel the same. I was so speechless that even when they began to tie us to the stake, I didn't even struggle. I would have cried if it won't further disgrace me. I just wait there like a dead man and accept my fate.
Jessy
I already sent gold back to Damion a message that he shouldn't come because the demon alpha and his pack aren't ordinary werewolves. They have real demon in them. I prayed they get my message because I couldn't send the message as quick as possible been that one of the maid statyed in my room late. I waited up so late so that if I hear any sign of choas I would know what to do but I didn't hear any sound till the wee morning so I laid to sleep. My mind was at peace that my brother is safe.

I didn't even rush to where those captive were kept. I did my morning training, had my lunch, even see to some packs matter before I finally decided to go see them on my way to somewhere important.
Everyone that pass would see them and I intentionally did that. That was their punishment for trespassing into my territory. Some of the people even intentionally went to see them. I got into my carriage and went to the place. Seeing a naked man tied to the stake got me disgusted.
"Mitchell, you should have at least covered their lower body" I said with a nauseated look.
" You never told me to do that" he said nonchalantly.
I knew Mitchell was enjoying all these and everything was nothing but a game to him. He was trying to hide his smiles but it was still lingering.
"How am I to know that they were naked?" I raised my nose and he laughed.
We got down from the carriage. Looking at them I frowned. Then I turned to Gabriel.
"Get them something to cover their lower body. You should have at least show the mighty alpha of the ranger pack some respect. Don't let's be rude" I said.
Mitchell chuckled at my words.
Damion
I was so tired of waiting for the so called Alpha and what he wants to do with us. It's afternoon already and it's a very sunny day. The sun was pouring down as if it's against us too. We were stark naked so you can imagine how hot we would be. The sun wasn't really the issue. It was how the pack members were going and coming, looking at us with mocking face. Well truth be told, the demon alpha trained his subject well enough. They didn't throw things at us. They didn't even stay like our pack members would have done. If it's our pack, we would have been injured a long while ago but those people seem like they don't even care about us.
Even if they don't know who we are, they will sure know that I'm an alpha and Alec a gemma. This is sure going to be a disgrace on the ranger pack. I'm sacrificing this for my sister, who I know would do the same for me.
I know that if the demon alpha kill me today, Jessy wouldn't stay without fighting for a revenge. She wouldn't let her families death go unavenged. Just as I was thinking, a very well decorated carriage emerged. None need to tell me who was in it. The aura spoke it all. The aura changed unlike those that I've been coming. The place felt so strange and hot. I could see people bowing down as the carriage pass them. I was so curious to see the demon alpha before I die. I want to see his ugly face.
I was so amazed when he finally got down. I looked at Alec who was right beside me and it seem like we are in the same dazed state. From his hair to his feet was gracefully and simply adorned. They were screaming wealth. His hair was a shoulder length, his face is so handsome, it almost looks feminine but it was firm. He is well built like a young man in his prime. If I wasn't a male and in this disgraceful situation, I would have admired him so much. He is just too handsome for whom they call him to be. His story is just like the devil whom people gave a ugly features but was said to be made with the most precious stone on earth. If not for the demon alpha's aura, he would have been mistaken for a spoilt prince. He didn't even age at all. None could have predicted that he is over a hundred years old.
I hate it so much for him to see me this way. I might not be as adorned and glorious as he is but I'm sure an alpha with wealth too. It really broke my heart and pride when I heard him say that they should have at least respect me as an alpha. I sensed mockery in his voice even though his voice was firm and he wasn't smiling.
"Do your worse demon" I spitted out.
I was so rage. I feel like the ground should just open on its own accord and swallow me.

I could see the way he was looking at me. It was so vivid that he didn't expect me to be looking like what I am. He is not the only one. Every one that is oppurtune to meet the so called demon alpha were always amazed at what I am. I stopped growing at the age of twenty. Even in my trouble, I made sure to take good care of myself. Mama do tell me that no matter what, I should make sure I look good. She said three things makes you respected in the werewolf kingdom. One is your strength, two is your wit and three is your looks. If you can have those three you will be counted as the best that's what she do tell me before she died. Although we werewolves doesn't age like humans but that doesn't mean I shouldn't at least look a little bit older. Mitchell too didn't really age but I still look younger than him even though we're age mates.
"Do your worse you demon" he shouted at me.
The rage of an alpha was flying in and out if him but it didn't faze me.
"Manners boy" I snapped and that shut him up.
He was glaring at me but said nothing.
"I didn't call you here boy. You came on your own accord" I said casually.
" You took my sister. I demand you to release her" he growled.
"Point of correction, I didn't bring your sister either. She walked into it herself by deciding to follow my men and as the Sceptre pack is, we are so accommodating" I said baldly.
" Liar! You kidnapped her" he shouted again
I was tired of his shout. " Quit shouting boy. You are in my territory and I'll do as I please. You shouting wouldn't change my mind" I snapped at him in my alpha voice. " Well I don't have issues with you and I'll let you go. Next time you enter my territory without my permission, I'll have your heads in my plate for dinner" I said and start to leave.
" What about Jessy?" The one beside him asked.
Looking at that one, I know he is a gemma. I wondered why his beta is not with him. Anywhere an alpha is, his beta must be there aside my own pack. My pack is not a normal one but a very complicated one.
"Who bears that?" I asked with a genuine confused look.
" My sister" the alpha growled.
"Oh" I said. "She's still serving the punishment of almost killing one if my men. When she's done, she would meet you at home if she's not dead" I replied.
Anyone who heard what I said would think I was turtoring her. I've not even seen the girl in question.
"No... Please take me in her stead. I'll serve her punishment" he pleaded.
There's nothing I want to use that female to do but when I think about what their father did to my family and pack, my rage would want me to rip their heart out. If not for the promise I've promised myself that I wouldn't intentionally include the innocents, he wouldn't even be here talk more of asking to switch with his sister.
"Of what use are you to me? Your sister can be useful in many ways. I do what I want" I said then walked away.
" No!!!!" He screamed as I left.
I know he would have been imagining a lot of things that I would have done to his sister. That's a nice turtored for him.
"Before you release them, let him see his sister for few minutes" I told the beta.
" Yes alpha" Gabriel said.
I didn't take the carriage just to show that I'm wealthy. He's too low for me to show my pride. His father is the least person I want to avenge. The real one is one of the powerful men in the werewolf kingdom. The funniest part is that he is not even far from me. He didn't even know that I'm holding a huge grudge against him. When I'm going to strike him, he will be fu5ll aware. I'll make sure I turn him to the dust, erase his generations.
I was actually heading to town to check on my new pack member. I had already informed them of my coming. This was always what papa does when he was alive and anytime he does this, all the people he visits will be happy as if they found treasure. I want to show the new members how their alpha treats them and cares for them.
