Chapitre 15: Chapter 15: Not My Day

Wes and I spent all of Monday in the library. Jasper decided that his Halloween weekend hangover was too much to handle, so he stayed home from school today.

Jasper’s night of having fun is a serious inconvenience for me. I had to be awake earlier this morning to take all the kids to school. I would never blame Jasper for having fun, like a normal high school student, but he’s always been my lifeline.

Our English teacher has been asking for updates on our project, but Wes and I are working at a slow pace. I’m always busy. I’ve barely done my portion of the work and he’s been doing all of it on his own. I feel bad that I’m being useless.

We couldn’t go to the library after school, since I needed to pick up all the kids from their respective schools. He offered to take over one of the locations, but I didn’t trust that to happen.
