At first, Ling was trying to stop his body from sliding back using a small amount of strength. Yet, he noticed right away that was not enough, so he have to harden his muscles to raise his physical strength.

Of course, both of them wondered about the strong aura pushing them back. They strolled their eyes all over the place, finding where the unknown power originated. Hmm... It was obvious that the firm and scary aura came from the creature sitting on the throne that was made from magma.

Since there were no lights that could help to have a full glance at the area, Emma decided to cast a magical light. But before she could do that, a burning knife pierced her arm, causing her to stop and groan in agony.

'Argh!'

She can't endure the pain, not only because of the keen knife. Or to be exact, it was because of the heat burning her skin in just a blink of an eye.
