Zeke pov
"Is Asuka a kaguya?" I asked him.
"Yes"
"She is only a half though"
"Her mother was a Kaguya " He said.
" Was it like a political marriage? " I asked my curiosity getting the better of me.
"ahahahhahahahhah"
" No, zeke "
"but ,I guess you could say that too. but it wasn't that they didn't love each other "
"They did."
" You would hardly find them in the village without the other following close behind " Mr Subaru with a fond smile on his face.
"There were even talks about an alliance between the two clans going on when Asuka was born"
"But that all stopped when they were mysteriously killed on a mission." Mr. Subaru said with a Dark look on his face.
" They took on a simple B rank extermination mission to wipe out a bandidt group which would have taken them just a few days at best."
" but after we failed to hear anything back from them for a week the Uzukage sama got worried and sent search parties after them "
"When we found their bodies they had cuts everywhere. Asuka sama's mother, kaho Sama's entire lower half was missing as well."
" The entire area where they were found was filled with fissures and scorch marks. It was obvious that they were attacked by someone that was sent purposefully to kill them. "
" No random no-name ninja could ever hope to kill both of them when they were together."
" However, Instead of finding who the killers were, the clans blamed each other for the tragedy saying that the other didn't want an alliance so they killed them off. " Mr. Subaru said with his fist tightly balled up.
"Who do you think killed them?" I asked.
*Sigh*
" I don't know Zeke"
" After searching the entire area the only thing we were able to find was a single pale white arm at the bottom of a nearby river" Mr. Subaru said as he started walking towards the academy motioning me to follow him.
* Pale white hand *
Those Words started ringing inside my ears before my world turned in to a familiar kaleidoscope of colors.
"Ahhhhgh" I couldn't help but groan out loud as I stumbled a few steps forward.
' Why does it always come with such a killer headache ' I thought to myself trying to recall what I just saw.
Instead of a full-blown vision this time, all I saw were a series of still images. Sometimes the images showed me an army of White Zetsu. Other times the images showed Zetsu standing next to a frail old man with spiky white hair.
' Madara and Zetsu are involved in this too ' I thought to myself as I recognized their faces.
' They must be part of the reason why the village gets destroyed in the future ' I thought to myself as I tried to piece together all the information I had right now.
'If the arm that was found did in fact belong to a white Zetsu then this entire thing made sense.'
' If madara and Zetsu did in fact plan to destroy the Whirlpool village then they would obviously not want an alliance between the uzumaki clan and one of the strongest clans in the hidden mist village. '
' It would have been such a big detriment to their plans if that happened so I guess that they decided to nip it in the bud by killing the linchpins holding the entire alliance together ' I thought to myself as I too walked back inside opting to sit beside Asuka this time.
1 Year later
A lot has changed over the past year.
I have grown a lot, both physically and mentally over the past year. I, now age 7 was amongst the tallest kids in the class.
It is important to note that I am also the youngest student in my class. All the others in the class ranged from 9 to 13 years old.
" A Giant " Asuka often called me.
' One piece physiology for the win ' I thought to myself dryly.
Speaking of the witch.
Me and her have also grown considerably close over the past year. It was so much so that I would now consider her to be one of my closest friends.
It was also due to her and the kage's intervention that I didn't have to deal with that Idiotic clan elder.
I guess the kage must have threatened the elder quite a bit since IKAMEKIDOMOEdidn't even dare to walk the same path as me anymore.
Not that I'm complaining.
The less I see of him the better.
However, the only thing that remained consistent over the past year has been the insane amount of time I spend training.
While I didn't have special classes with Mr. Subaru anymore I still had my Training sessions with Mr. Sato.
We spent most of Last year training my Barrier techniques and my Sword Skills.
Both of which have advanced leaps and bounds ahead of what they were a year ago.
I could keep the barriers materialized for longer periods of time and make much more complex structures using them now. While I'm still very far away from making the weird chakra skeletons Uchiha clan members are able to make, I could make smaller weapons with it like spears and swords using my barriers. All I need to do to make them is to visualize them.
The more Vividly and detailed I can visualize it the more realistic it would be when I materialize it.
My Sword skills have also gotten exponentially better. The Most Notable thing so far being the flying attacks that I could now do with them.
While they are still nowhere as strong as to be able to slice your body in half without me using my chakra cloak it could leave behind some nasty cuts.
Another thing I learned from Mr. Sato was the reason why it is important to use hand signs when trying to use a jutsu.
He explained that almost all kekkai Genkai users can instinctively use their abilities without the use of hand signs but almost none of them rarely do so cause of the intense chakra and stamina needed to pull off these techniques.
Something that I don't need to worry about.
FLASHBACK
" Listen well Zeke"
" There are 12 basic hand signs."
" Those are Bird , boar, dog , dragon , hare , horse, monkey, ox, ram, rat ,serpent, tiger.
" The hand signs are used to mold chakra easier "
"While techniques may require a number of hand sign to work, a skilled ninja can use less or even one to perform the same technique."
"If there is sufficient mastery over a jutsu , the ninja needs to use less of the hand sign. This is because the chakra flow of that particular jutsu can be achieved faster."
"Do you understand Zeke?"
"Yes Mr Sato" I replied.
FLASHBACK END
" ZEKE" A familiar voice shouted out breaking me out of my thoughts.
" What is it Asuka?" I asked in a dry voice as I dodged the hug she tried to give me.
" MOUUUU"
" let me hug you already" Asuka whined out.
"No"
" Now tell me why are you here?" I asked.
" Fine. You are no fun Zeke kun."
" GRAndfather wanted to see you today." Asuka said.
" What ??? "
"The kage wants to meet me?"
" WHY??" I asked her.
" HEHEHHEHE"
"SECRET"
" YOU will have to go and find out." She said with an annoying look on her face.
" fine."
" So when are we going to go? " I asked her
" ummmm actually right now is fine " she said with an impish smile on her face.
