Leo smiled tiredly as he said loudly, "Master Ling! I did it! Fen and Shen are-"

Leo looked around only to have his smile snatched away from his face.

Teacher Ling was in a pool of his own blood, yelling in agony. His left arm had been bitten off by the tiger beast.

The tiger beast chomped his left arm down and swallowed it in one gulp.

Leo could feel his hands which were holding onto Shen and Fen trembling slightly. The scene was horrible, and he wished that he could remove it from his memories.

His eyes trailed back at teacher Ling's bloody body. He witnessed Teacher Ling's pained face and veins popping out on his forehead.

First, he barely had any energy left, second, almost all of his soul power had been drained, third, an ice shard impaled his right leg and now finally, his left arm was bitten away.
