Chapitre 16: Closer

After waking up, Juliette headed downstairs for breakfast. On her way to the kitchen, she passed by a room with signage in bold red letters that said: ENTER AND DIE.

Juliette cringed at the frightening warning.

'Well, what's in that room to have such a warning?' she curiously thought.

It had been days since the funeral, and that particular room near the staircase had been piquing Juliette's interest like no other. Maybe it was because she had nothing else to do that she nitpicked on almost anything her sight could catch.

She saw Luca last night going inside that room again. She saw him almost every night. And whenever they would cross paths after he went in, she would smell something from him. It's a familiar scent, but she couldn't pinpoint what it was.

"Perhaps, his secret room?" Juliette muttered her assumption aloud. "Whatever."
