"Steph! Steph! Steph! Wait for me."

Steph stopped on the stairs to her fourth-floor room as she recognized the voice a second before the brunette's head came into view. The head belonged to Rachel, one of her roommates.

"Hi, Rachel. How goes it?"

"Great. Hey, who was that guy you were with?"

Steph and Rachel walked together up the stairs while Steph double-checked herself on using Hong Gi's alias. "Oh, that's Lei. He's an old family friend. We started a study group. Tonight was our first meeting."

"Really? Then you're not like into him or anything?" Rachel's smile was as fake as her eyelashes.
