" Is that them?" Seeing a slow-moving medieval knight army marching Into a forest, Alduin asked. The trip over only took a few hours due his speed, when it should have took a few months on a horse.
Leading this army is an ugly-looking thing of a man riding a...octopus?
Yep, he saw right, that mans right there is riding an octopus.
" Eep! Why does he look like that?" Closing her eyes, Artoria inquired her friendly Dragon.
" No idea. But I smell black magic on him, so that should be It." This Caster doesn't seem to be good at hiding his mana, and Alduin smelled It a few hundred miles away, and he wasn't even trying.
" Black Magic!? Why? Regular Magic is good enough!" The Fey asked with a deep frown.
" Can you land down. I want to talk with this black Mage." Artoria then said.
" Magic word?"
"... Please?"
" There you go." Diving down through the clouds, Alduin's eyes flashed with blood-lust.
*Boom!*
The very Earth cried as the Black Dragon landed, uprooting trees and the like. All Monsters, no matter their race or powers ran without looking back. For a great evil is behind them and they definitely don't want to become its next snack or lunch. They like living very much, thank you!
" Ooooogh! Who might you be!?" The ugly thing of a man asked the black Dragon with happiness and madness flowing In his eyes and very soul.
Alduin didn't even say anything, too busy wondering how he will kill this disgusting creature. Artoria on the other hand stood up and stared at the man-thing in his eyes with steel-like eyes that don't suit her age or appearance - at all.
" I am Artoria Caster. Who might you-"
Upon seeing Artoria, the Caster's eyes quite literally popped out of their sockets In overwhelming happiness and love," Jeanne! It that you Jeanne!? No, what am I saying, It has to be Jeanne! She must have felt my love through time! How wonderous this is!"
" I am-"
" Oh, Jeanne! Oh, my dear Jeanne! How evil-looking you are riding this creature of destruction! No-no-no! This can't do! We need a horse! NO! We need a U-"
*Yol toor shul!*
A wave of bright orange fire left Alduin's mouth, swallowing the man in flames.
" He was annoying." Alduin snorted, ignoring the way the Fey is looking at him with an open mouth and wide eyes.
*Yol toor shul!*
" One more time for good luck." Always double-tap. He doesn't know who or what taught him that, but he likes the rule nonetheless. It works.
" Alduin!! We needed him alive!" Coming back to her senses, Artoria's cheeks puffed up.
" Why?"
They did? When did they talk about this?
" I wanted to-"
" HEY! That wasn't nice, you overgrown lizard!" Walking out of the smoke is the evil Caster, looking like nothing happened.
" The Grail?" Knowing the power behind his attack can burn down a fortress, Alduin questioned.
" The Grail." Somehow understanding the Grail helped the Caster, Artoria nodded.
" You shall leave MY Jeanne, alone!"
" That voice is beautiful~ It is beauty itself~ Oh my Diva you appeared to me finally~ Oh how long I have awaited this day, Christine incarnate~" Joining them out of the woods is a slim man wearing black Opera clothing and white mask, staring at Artoria with an overwhelming obsession and devotion.
" Mufufufu! It seems we have a storm here!" Next to him, is a large Pirate man wearing a lot of gold, laughing greatly.
{"...Uhhh, this may outclass my abilities."}
Artoria flinched seeing them appear. She may be powerful, but not that powerful. However, If Alduin is willing to help, then they will have a chance against the three...
What is she talking about? Alduin is enough! He's a damn Dragon! An extremely powerful Dragon at that!
" ▂▂▃▃▅▅ーーー!!" An inhumane roar made all of them look over to the lines of Knights they all totally ignored.
Smashing through the ranks of the Knights is a beast of a man, who seems to wear Greek clothing and use a rock-sword-like weapon thingy. The weapon itself is pretty badass in Alduin's opinion.
{" I take It, he may not be on their side..."} Artoria gulped seeing people become nothing but red paste on the ground from this Heroic Spirit.
" Ugh! Who let Megalos go!?" Noticing the Man-beast, the Evil Caster yelled out with an even paler face
Sighing, Alduin asked the Caster on his back.
{" So how are you supposed to get the Holy Grail away from him? Kill him? Burn him? Eat his soul?"} This Evil Caster is an annoyance to Alduin. So he will gladly do all three and some. He doesn't mind.
Artoria frowned upon it as unpleasant memory surfaced in her mind.
{" NO! We... We have to do something else. Something else..."}
If he had eyebrows to lift, Alduin would have lifted them, feeling the Fey shake as she mumbled to herself.
{" Have to do it... Have to do it... I'm the Child of Prophecy."}
Knowing full well he can't help her, as he doesn't really understand human emotions, Alduin sighed again.
Humans, Fey, Heroic Spirits, he doesn't understand them. Why can't they just do the Dragon thing for once?
Give the World the bird and do whatever they fucking want?
Fuck this Child of Prophecy bullshittery and other people's feelings. Fuck what others thought and do what you want.
Humans are such annoying creatures sometimes...
{" Yes they are..."}
Alduin blinked in confusion. He then blinked again.
{" I said all that through our link didn't I?"}
A soft pleasant giggle above him was the answer.
{" Do the Dragon thing, huh?"} He'll take that as a yes.
{" You disagree?"}
{" Nope!~"} Artoria shook her head and smiled. Her first genuine smile since, well...ever.
Who knew all she needed to be happy was a World-Eating Dragon?
Hearing her humming, Alduin knew he did something he shouldn't have...
Or...should he have?
Ugh! Fucking humans and their mushy bodies and emotions!
