Chapitre 3: Reishi awakens
When I woke up, it was still dark outside; I was still thinking over everything that occurred the day before whilst still semi-hoping it was all a dream, but unfortunately, it was all real and my reality right now, although I was a little down I'm still energized as I couldn't wait to begin training, I walked out of my tent and went deeper into the forest, after a few minutes I found the perfect spot, there were some trees around it, but it was pretty barren and quiet, I took a little stick and wrote on the ground.
1. jump as high as I can
2. run as fast as I can
3. try to see if I have spiritual energy
"Alright today's going to be a busy day" I stated while walking near a tree, so I could have a better measure of how I could jump, to some people this test might seem dumb, but I need to check out all my physical limits so when the time comes I'll be able to control or bring out all of my power in whatever situation I find myself in
"Ok, time to see what I can do. " I planted my legs on the ground and took off, Boom!!!! is what I heard as two small holes the size of my foot appeared on the ground the moment I took off,
I was beyond shocked to see that I jumped higher than the tree it felt as if there was no gravity, and I was just floating in the air I couldn't help but scream in happiness as I was in the air everything was so peaceful, but then I started heading back down fast, I landed on my butt, surprisingly it didn't even hurt.
I stood up again, I started staring at the tree again it looked to be around 150 feet (45.72 m) tall, but I knew I jumped at least 5 feet higher than it "I'm practically the hulk now with my strength and, how high I can jump", alright now it was time to see if I had the speed too while thinking where I would run to I heard a stream running, 'there's probably a waterfall nearby maybe 3 miles (ca. 5 km) away to my right' I planted my legs to the ground once again in a similar fashion as to when I was jumping, I got my body ready as I took off I could see that a small (very small) crater had formed
Running in the wind was perfect it felt as if I was flying but as seconds passed, I could hardly breathe as I was hitting my body against the wind to go faster it felt tough on my skin I didn't notice that I had already reached the waterfall, and suddenly I tripped and fell in the cold water I quickly swam my way out of it, I was shivering as I got out; I turned around and looked down at the still water, and it shocked me to see my reflection.
my hair was super short as if it was in a buzz cut, and it was shockingly white similar to Captain ukitakes hair in the bleach anime, when I looked at my face I realized why the shinigami's I saw yesterday called me a girl, my face was pretty, not cute, but pretty, I was prettier than most girls I've seen in my previous life, after seeing my face I decided I was somewhere around 10-12 years old, I vowed to grow my hair out since it might help hide my face.
After a few minutes, I took off my clothes (a blue robe and old-style Japanese underwear) to let them dry. While inspecting my body, it looked normal. It didn't show any muscle, and I was basically just an average skinny kid.
" eh, I was expecting to have at least a 6 pack".
A few minutes later my shirt was dry I quickly dressed up and started to see if I had spiritual energy "ok so how do I even see if I have it, Ichigo in the anime just used it without even trying to do it may be ill have to just try to do the same"
I took a small stick and hummed trying to see if I could make energy come out of it, after a few minutes I realized I was dumb, this time I sat down without humming and closed my eyes, a lot of thoughts were running through my head, I was scared and slightly (super) worried about my life; It didn't feel like I had a chance to fight off and survive against the stronger characters; I doubted myself, why don't I just go back to the district and find a job there and live off peacefully I don't even have to fight off Aizen, or Yhwach, I already know the plot why don't I just let Ichigo and the main characters do that themselves….
NO!! I screamed in my head even if I don't have to I will, I lived my life without any meaning besides trying to learn the truth behind my parent's disappearance and death but I failed at that now I've found a meaning in this world and my meaning is to be the strongest; I don't care what side I'm on even if I have to join Aizen... ill do it if that's what it takes to be the strongest. My firm determination fought off the discouraging thoughts until, finally, my mind was clear and empty.
There was only complete darkness left, but I kept walking in my mind, after continuously walking for minutes I saw a dim blue light in the distance I ran towards it and more kept popping up in different colors white, blue, gray, red it didn't matter I kept running until I was surrounded by all of them but I didn't stop every particle got bigger and brighter the farther I want it was so blinding that I wanted to leave but I didn't, I walked for what felt like days upon days I couldn't see at all my vision was blurry after walking even further it started to even get hot I was burning myself, I knew it was time to leave, my instincts or maybe something else warned me not to go further for now.
I opened my eyes to find that I was still near the stream and the sun had risen I didn't even flinch my eyes away from it since what I had experienced in my mindscape was thousands of times brighter, I looked around and saw some small blue particles on the grass and plants "so this must be reishi" I realized I now had spiritual energy, I stood up only to feel a sudden pain in my stomach I was so unbearable that I fell down to the rock hard ground, "ugh, guess everything has a price" I slowly crawled near a bush filled with berries and started eating like a madman, it was only after finishing everything that I felt better
I went near the stream again to train my newfound reishi, when I got there I sat down and started thinking of ideas 'reishi wasn't explained that Good in bleach, I mean it is but only for certain techniques, I want to create one unique to myself'
Before I can create new techniques, I have to see if I have excellent control over it. I decided to see if I could create a reishi Rasengan for fun; pulled my hands out and closed my eyes, feeling reishi run through my body and come out of my hands. I then imagined it forming an enormous ball of reishi, but slowly compacting down to a small ball of energy, I opened my eyes in shock
"no way it worked on the first try"
'I know how hard it was for some characters even Ichigo to control reishi yet I've done it first try it seems like I'm talented' I looked at the ball of reishi in my hand, I could feel how destructive it was, I slowly stood up concentrating so it wouldn't blow up in my hands I walked to a tree and palmed it with the reishi Rasengan in my hand
dust and a loud explosion occurred, I waited for the dust to settle, and when it finally did the effects of that scared me not just one tree was destroyed practically seven huge ones were gone, a cold chill ran down my spine "what if the captains felt my reishi" (pretty dumb)
I quickly ran back to the small camp I had made, it only took seconds for me to reach there I estimate my speed to be around lieutenant level right now but I might still be slower(his scaling is obviously wrong you'll see why in next chap)
I laid down in my tent once again thinking 'with just a rasengan I obliterated 7 huge trees with minimal effort if I tried I could probably bring enough damage to destroy a small section of the Forest, although my hands were slightly damaged the pain is already gone with that I started heading back to the district ....TO BE CONTINUED
