The path was lined with ancient trees, whose intertwined canopies formed a natural tunnel, further obscuring the environment.

The sound of the wind whispering through the leaves mingled with the rhythmic clatter of the horse's hooves against the damp ground. In the distance, the imposing gates of the Lion's Rest appeared, with their towers challenging the heavy sky, like vigilant guardians of the throne.
