Azuma took a step forward, but all of sudden something smashed him over the ground. His whole body flared in pain at the abrupt impact, but it didn't remain for too long.
He had taken out the gun while he got up, Azuma dodged the second hazy attack and before the hovering hound could strike again, he vaguely rained down the plasma bullets.
This gave him a small opening as the beast screached away.
"Shiro!"
Azuma called out, not being able to look back as the hound came again. It was around seven feet large and the tattered batlike wings made him falterly fly.
She didn't reply.
And he didn't care about the beast in front of him, Azuma rushed back to where she was. The howls and screams chased him, but Azuma was forgetting everything as he saw the blanket of mist.
Shiro was nowhere.
A loud howl thundered behind him.
Azuma absentmindedly removed the battery of his gun, flicked off the safety pin and tossed it behind.
Boom.
