Chapter 113 - Current affairs

It was raining heavily and the sky was dark.

In the dark of the night, a group of people wearing raincoats were riding their horses crazily. Their hooves were trampling on the rain water as they mixed with the mud and splashed it everywhere.

Anxious shouts could be heard incessantly, their cries being swallowed up by the heavy rain. They could only vaguely hear the voices of people, but they could not clearly hear what they were saying.

This group of people had just passed the puddle of water where the rain had been pouring down for the past few days when a group of people caught up with them. The ground behind them seemed to be trembling as they passed by.

The wind and rain were swaying, the sound of thunder was suddenly heard, and the war horses were galloping, as if they were man-eating wild beasts chasing the fleeing prey.
