Chapitre 10: ANGUISH II

"Guys calm down..." Mona said and looked at us. She smiled, even though she was trembling in anger, fear, and sadness.

"...Look! *Wipes the bread that spits in her face* we can still eat it. *Eats it*" and then she smiled again and I could see that she wanted to puke but trying so hard to swallow. The energy that we accumulated to fight immediately vanished and pained us. I cried because Mona was trying to get us out of danger and I couldn't do anything about it.

"We don't want to waste food. So, sir, please forgive my rudeness earlier. " She even apologizes to that bastard. To that devil!

I can't forgive myself for being weak.

"Yes, you must know your place!" he said and threw away the half bread earlier.

I immediately run towards Mona and hug her tight.

"Mona, why did you stop us? That bastard would have been dead by now" Jack said, as we cried and cried because we could not help our friend.

"If you attack, the master might kill you all," she said and patted our heads until we were able to calm ourselves until Jack and Eli fell asleep beside me.

*murmur*

I can hear the sound from the outside. Looks like the one that is guarding us is going to ship to another room.

"Yes, you can do whatever you want with them." I heard that bastard say to the new guard of this shitty place

"R... Really? The master won't mind?" the other guy responds. Just what are they planning to do now? I lift my head to look for Mona. I saw her peacefully sleeping near the door. I turn my sight to the two people sleeping comfortably beside me. They didn't finish their bread so that they might offer it to me and Mona. Even after eating Eli's share, I'm still hungry. But how ravenous are these two? They just sleep to stave off hunger.

"Yes, you can even have some pleasure. Hahaha! Just don't forget to threaten them by the name of our master. I'll get going then." said that bastard and I heard his footstep fade away.

After that. It becomes quiet until.

*clang* *clang*

I heard the opening of the lock and the door slowly opened. I saw the shadow of the big guy come into the room.

What was he planning?

"Hahaha. I finally got the chance to do this..." he said while undoing his pants. I decided to fake my sleep and open my eyes a little bit.

He undid his lower garments and started rubbing on his private part. I heard his moan. I got chills and started to be disgusted. I want to puke. But I don't have anything to put out in my stomach. I can't continue watching him doing his deeds. As long as none of us got hurt--

"Hmm? W-what are you doing?" my eyes widened when I heard Mona's voice. I immediately get up to see what he's doing. I clenched my hand as I saw that he was about to undress Mona. I gasped and that made Eli and Jack aware of the noise.

"What's going on?" Eli asked me

"Yule?" asked Jack. But I am focused on what that bastard is doing. I got up and as soon as I was to punch that bastard. The barrier throws me to the side back of the room. Eli and Jack started to attack but that bastard had a protective shield around him. Maybe the slave spell connected to it? We couldn't break it

"N-No! P-Please!" we heard Mona screaming because of the bastard. We saw what he did to Mona.

"P-please! S-stop it. I-I beg you!!!"

Her scream is all over the room, echoing in my ears.

I can't take it!

Jack and Eli still attacking the barrier

"You! Let go of her!"

"Pervert! I'm going to kill you!"

I can hear them cussing at that bastard

My body seems to not move

All I can see is Mona was struggling to fight back and the other two are still attacking the barrier

All the disgusting moans of that bastard were clearly on my head, his laugh, and his eagerness to satisfy himself.

I run towards it as I form a spear using my ice crystal and throw and smash it into the barrier. But not a single scratch was made. I can see the struggle of Mona slowly fading away. Her screams slowly fade and the laugh of that bastard only gets louder. I can't seem to shed tears right now. The other kids are crowding in the corner of the room, trembling because of fear. Eli and Jack seem to have their voices faded as well because of screaming and cursing.

But I can only hear that bastard. As his pleasure and desire get.

"Mona is not moving at all! Get away from her!" Jack shouted

"Mona!" Eli also shouted.

But I can't seem to shout as loud as them.

I can feel the rage accumulating in my body. The eagerness to break the barrier and kill that bastard is getting high. As if I'm going to explode right now.

With the mana, flowing, I can feel free in my body!

I'm going to burst and I am--

"Y-yule, be stronger...because I can't." I heard a faint soft voice, but that was the last thing she said before her final tears fell looking at me.

Third Person's POV

When she heard Mona's final words. The energy built in her heart grew stronger, as did the need to fight and defend. Her eyes had gradually turned a cold blue. Frost starts to spread in her body from her heart. Her body temperature slowly drops and she lets a deep sigh and her breath can be seen because of the coldness she emits in her body. That's when she realizes she's just unlocked her actual self.

She sprang forth with a blue radiance that filled the room. The ambiance suddenly turns cold and the breeze can freeze.

When the imbecile begins to notice, the urge and pleasure go away instantly. The moment he witnesses the actual power, such as the Ice Queen. She was floating in the air and the blue illumination struck her heart. He trembles in fear as she casts a cold stare at him.

"T-The Master! I-If he knew about this, you're all dead!" He threatens the person who's out of control, eager to kill, and fully devastated. Yule approaches the barrier carefully and touches it languidly. The frost began to spread and form a ring around the barrier to weaken it.

Jack and Eli take quick measures to shatter it and remove Mona as soon as the Barrier breaks up. They then wrap her garments over her body. The man is struggling to escape away from his fear. His feet were shaking, enough to make him slump on the floor, exposing his private part out of terror.

Yule, as she slid down. The frost on the floor spreads with each step she makes. She lowered her hand just close enough to his private part. He's too astonished to talk right now. When Yule is close enough to his private part, it instantly turns into ice. The man screamed in agony.

"That suffering… Isn't enough," she stated coldly, her blazing blue eyes locked on the man. The man's terror grows as his private area that had turned into ice is readily broken. She had just castrated him.

The man died as a result of a heart attack. But Yule's rage had become much stronger.

"His death means nothing!" she said, touching the guy in the forehead, forcing it to turn into pure ice, and kicking it effortlessly to disperse the body.

She turned her back and saw Jack and Eli carrying Mona's lifeless body. She took a step closer to Mona, intending to touch her but fearful of turning her into ice. She instantly backed up and yelled. She's not getting any better. Her powers were causing her to go insane, and her beautiful chestnut brown hair was gradually turning silvery-white as the frost started to spread in her body. She heard a footstep in the direction of the chamber. She stood up right away and stated

"Wait here, I'm going to kill them all," she said as she floated away to deal with the others and, in particular, to murder all the master's dogs.

All night long, Eli, Jack, and the other slaves heard screams throughout the night. The morning appeared, followed by the sunlight. Yule returned to the chamber where they had been held hostages. She returned without a mark on her body, only the frost, her wrath does not seem to subside, and her body becomes colder and colder as if she is becoming into an ice crystal. She then touched Mona's corpse.

While she sobs uncontrollably over the loss. She then began to become colder and colder, but Eli promptly cuddled her from behind with his warm embrace, helping her body temperature to gradually return to normal. Eli strokes her white-silvery hair while looking at her worriedly. As she opened her eyes, the chestnut brown tint faded and was replaced by a frigid blue.

Eli wrapped his arms around her.

"We're still here for you, Yule. I'm still here for you. Let's get out of here," he said to Yule as he led her out of the room. As Jack is holding Mona's corpse The other slaves are subsequently instructed by Jack that they are free and can do anything they want.

Later, the Royal Knights discovered what had happened to the abandoned tower and cared for the children who had been held hostage for a long period.

When the King found out what had happened, he took action, and commanded Master Guildart, an Archmage and the captain of the Holy Archmage Knight, to take care of the children, including Yule, Jack, and Eli.

Yule's POV

"Adelle? We're here" I slowly opened my eyes when I heard the man who claimed to be my father, I didn't know I fell asleep in his arms.

"Adelle, welcome home." the Marquess said. Maybe I was so tired. When I looked around, I saw Daniel look amazed.
