The next second, a shadow wielding a large ring-headed saber appeared out of thin air in the square, swinging the blade and cutting in half the dazed monster that was approaching.

Meanwhile, another monster came to its senses completely, its tentacle instantly lashing out at the shadowy figure.

But the shadowy figure didn't dodge, instead taking the strike on its back, stepping forward with sword in hand, and cutting the second monster in two as well.

Then he waited a moment to make sure there were no more monsters at the center, before slightly relaxing and planting the sword into the ground.
