William Griffith didn't mind what he had heard; after all, Cherish Turner had spent twenty-three years living with the Turner family. He could understand and was willing to wait as long as he could be with Cherish.

When they got in the car, Cherish dumped her bag on William and glared at the little bun sitting in the backseat.

"You!" she pointed at Lewis's nose and said, "At such a young age, how can you be just like your dad? Do you know how much Auntie Cherish likes you, huh?"
