Akira was about to say something in response to that but before the words could leave his mouth, he immediately shut up and his eyes widened slightly in realization. 

Surely, Zaelek was right... 

So why had Akira changed his views on Kaito? 

Why was it that the man whom he considered a rival was now a good friend...? 

"Is my soul really merging with Yuzu's soul...?" Akira muttered in disbelief. 

"That's definitely not it," Zaelek shook his head as he confirmed. 

"Then I'm the one who has changed...?" 

Zaelek nodded his head without saying anything. 

Akira couldn't help but feel shocked to the core. 

"I'm so dumb..." He muttered to himself. 

Zaelek also sat down on the bed as he looked at the man and asked, "Why is that?" 

"I think I actually like him."
