I made it to Springville without encountering any enemies on the way. Although, it's already mid-afternoon. It's both shocking and reassuring to know that I'm not putting my life in danger by completing these simple jobs.
Draff's residence is located on the highest point in the hamlet. I don't know anything about Draff, but thankfully I remember where he lives, so I'll just give him this food and leave. What's nice about doing this is that my lunch for later is already prepared.
"I could do this forever. Nods."
When I arrived at the residence. I don't see him around, so I thought of knocking on his door, "Knock knock! " Yet no one is responding. "It's getting late!" I yelled, slamming the door.
"Come on, I don't want to walk back to the city now that nighttime is approaching. It's frightening! Please open the door! "
For whatever reason, my voice became increasingly shrill over time. "Hey! Draff! Come on out! Your food has arrived; where the hell have you gone?!?"
However, he hasn't responded in a long time. "If you don't come out now," I grumbled. "I'm going to leave your food here. I don't mind if the dogs eat it." I said as I placed the food on the stoop.
It's not that I don't want to wait for him to personally deliver the food, but my safety is my top priority here.
I was about to leave when I caught sight of his house again. The food was still there, not moving much, but I'm still concerned.
What if someone steals that food? Then, what will happen to Draff? I sound like an idiot, "He won't be able to eat dinner but that doesn't mean he will die on starvation." My thoughts are splitting into two. There's a chance Draff would go to Sara himself to complain about not getting the food.
Sara will undoubtedly murder me. "Brrrr Okay, fair enough. I'll be patient until he arrives. Tch."
Finally, I returned to the front door, grabbed the meal in my hand, and sat like a woman waiting for her husband.
"I can't believe my first commission will be so difficult." If I return to the city at this hour, I might die.
"Don't be concerned, you've got it. I'm confident you have magically great abilities! After all, you've been isekai'd."
I grinned to myself as I tried to alleviate my anxieties in whatever way I could. To be honest, that's not the only issue I'm dealing with tonight. I'm not sure where I should sleep; I'm thinking of going to the headquarters or looking for Diluc. He is currently the only person who could
help me in this pinch.
"Hm? " But, alas, the man of honor has arrived. "How may I help you?" His looks showed that he was wary of me. I stood up and, impatiently, whacked the delivery lunch box in his face.
"Urrghh!?"
"I'm out of here."
To be honest, I'm still angry at him for making me wait.
Why on earth do I have to wait for him? —Did you decline the commission? Then you should stop asking.
"Stop pestering me, brain; I don't need you."
Now, I've already given the food. I should return to the city.
The night has already run its course. I don't have a clock in this period, and even if they do, I'm not going to ask because it won't help me anyway. I came to a halt when I reached the village's entrance. My gaze was drawn to the final glimpse of the dim lighting of this settlement. If I leave now, I might get to the city early, but it'll be difficult.

I walked into the woods, and I think I'll fetch a tree limb for defence. I took a piece of a slender branch that had been soaking in the ground. I still looked for a nice one, but this is the best I could find.

If this were a game, I wouldn't mind if I roamed at any time of day or night, but this is my real life. The unavoidable reality that I must embrace. It's just that I still don't know what my vision is.
I had resumed my walk by then.
The night was deafeningly quiet, and it was also dark in the area where I am. I'm clutching this branch hard, and I've pressed it to my chest. I'm walking like a duck, trying to be mindful of my surroundings.
Even though my eyes can't perceive any dangers, I can't merely rest and proceed without caution.

That alerted me to the fact that an adversary was approaching. I couldn't see anyone when I looked behind me. My legs, and even my arms, began to quiver. That language, I'm familiar with it—.

"Eh?!"
[F/X: Engulfed by a Huge Hydro ball]
My tree branch broke and fell to the ground.
It was barely a fraction of a second before an abyss wizard emerged and imprisoned me in his elemental force.
I've noticed these hilichurls cheering right in front of me now that I'm here. They were ecstatic because they had successfully victimized me.
I didn't even hear that battle soundtrack! Uwaaah, I didn't feel any presence of them and now I'm trapped here. It was difficult and perhaps futile for me to struggle. I was unable to pop the hydro bubble.
'I...I can't breathe...' it hurts, the water pains me. My entire body is starting to become numb.
"Didumm chamita. Kekekek!"
I'm losing air, and at this rate, I might... No! I don't want to die yet; I promised myself I will live here quietly. I promised I'd have a happy life here.
My eyes are closing and I'm losing consciousness.
'Please, God… if you still exist in this place, I'm begging you… Someone help—.'
[F/X: Thunder roars, strikes]
The next thing that occurred to me was 'Me' falling to the ground harshly. I haven't completely lost consciousness. Thus, I chased my breathing back to normal. I even coughed up the water I had just consumed
My hands were twitching as I frightenedly faced the ground.
I can see that…
"I wasn't able to do anything." my tears started to flow from one to another, "I can't even save myself from those hilichurls…How can I live here?"
I can't stop being depressed from what I've just experienced, "UWaaaaa! I don't want to live here powerless! Why don't I have vision like the other characters?! How can I live here? Uwaaaahhh—!"
"Tch. Irritating." I heard a voice from nearby. When I lifted my hear, the first person who I would catch within my sight was none other than…
