Charlotte Cooper loosened her grip on Henry Russell's arm and walked to the chair behind her, sitting down gracefully. She began discussing the script with the director, while Henry sipped his coffee quietly, seemingly unconcerned by the presence of Lily McKenzie and Ava Davis in the room.
"Ava, by attacking the leading cast on the internet, you're essentially attacking this show, so you can leave now. I'll have a lawyer deliver the contract termination to you later!" The director interjected, waving his hand impatiently in an attempt to cut off Ava's pleas. Ava's face darkened, but she didn't want to lose face in front of so many people. After glaring at Charlotte, she finally turned and left the director's office.
Henry noticed this scene, his malicious gaze softening only when Ava's figure disappeared. After giving a few simple instructions to his assistant, who then left, he couldn't help but think that any woman who dared to glare at him must feel she had lived too long!
