Charlotte Cooper yelped as she opened her eyes to complete darkness.

She struggled to sit up from the floor, feeling the throbbing pain in the back of her head. She thought to herself, 'What century is this, where people still resort to such crude methods as hitting someone on the back of the head?' Fortunately, the force of the hit was not too strong, and there was no bleeding.

Charlotte only remembered that she had stepped out of the restroom when she was knocked unconscious. When she woke up, she found herself here.

She faintly heard the booming sound of music outside and listened carefully. It seemed like she was on the upper level of a nightclub.

The ground floor of this nightclub had a huge dance floor, where the music could captivate the entire crowd every night.

But who brought her here? And what was their purpose?
