He tried a couple foods too, and bought some for his guards. The seller and other consumers were nervous around him, so they let him cut the line. Of course, he did not want to be seen as tyrannical so he stays in line with his two guards.

The seller was even afraid to receive money from him. A few times, they refuse to take money until Hax forced it in their hand.

As much as the bad rumor about him spread, Hax was still the leader of the Rebellion Army. And the first norm that could create weapons that they very much needed.

And the very reason why these merchants could gather here.

Now that he thought about it… Hax did not collect any taxes at all. None of the cultivators actually collect taxes.
