Chapitre 57: Who are you?
William's face widened when he heard about the experience of Lin Cian with spirits. He was even more shocked to hear that Lin Cian has even found out William's identity but he understood that Lin Cian shielded him.
When Lin Cian heard from the spirits that they wanted to kill William he understood why they wanted to do so. After all, William was supposedly one of them in blood but because of the nature he lived and practiced he helped the villagers and walked with the other members of the party.
His identity as a half-breed of dire wolf won't change. But Lin Cian stood up for him. He knew that he have the strength to order the spirits so that they would listen to him no matter what. He ordered them
"Protect thy people, harm none of my people, and for others is not my concern" which made the spirits retreat from the idea of killing William. Lin Cian filled the blood on the ground with his spiritual essence and the blood started to evaporate. What seemed like the blood getting evaporated was a watery element that has the same property as the water was separated from the blood by vaporization and it formed a cloud when it moved above the sky.
The spirits were assigned two different tasks. One is to identify the people who belong to the village or the people with Lin Cian. The next one is to kill anyone who was not an ally. Because Lin Cian shouted not to harm his allies the spirits didn't dare to lay a finger on William. When Lin Cian shouted
"Blood Rain Assult" all the spirits moved towards the beasts. Whoever the spirits entered would witness death. The spirits chose to get only into the dire wolves so no one could feel how those wolves suffered.
As Lin Cian elaborated everything to William his eyes sparkled with different looks and views of the incident. Even though Lin Cian explained everything did keep out an important fact about a specific event. When he fell asleep on the ground leaving June all alone he had a great experience with something no one was ever thought of.
When he opened his eyes he saw a different environment from before. What he saw was not a place filled with trees and surrounded by soil. It is not somewhere with an abundance of soil or rock. It is not some bed of flowers or bed of grasses. It looked bluish instead. Wherever he turned what he saw was the ocean. When he looked at himself he found that he was in a human form and his image was vivid but he was translucent and the light can pass through him. He wondered whether he was merged into the sea under his feet. The sea was so calm that it never made a wave or a splash. He walked above what seemed to be water. All he could see was blue, blue, and blue. He even found himself to be in blue. Whichever direction he turned his head it seemed to be an endless scenario. When he realized that it was so calm and he was the only being to be found there, he heard the light sound of water splashing. It was more like someone was walking on the surface of the water. He turned towards the sound he heard and his eyes widened.
A woman was walking toward him. She also looked in blue but the dimensions of her body made others feel like she was an unparalleled beauty. Her body was unmatched by any woman. Her hair extended to her thighs. Her chin was conic and had a smooth edge. Her lips were dark and her nose was crisp and small which covert the gaze of men. She had large but unusually beautiful eyes. Her eyelashes were velvety and were not sure of the color of her pupil and hair. It was dark but because she was fully blue and semi-transparent it couldn't be identified but it was clear that her pupils and her hair added her charm. She wore a cloth that would expose all her curves and the shape of her body was unrivaled. The beauty and elegance can be seen while she was walking toward Lin Cian.
She was very surprised to see that Lin Cian didn't respond as other men do. She has seen many men in her past but none of them resisted her charm. They would even imagine vivid images of them having fun with her and other creepy stuff but the young man in front of her at the time being had something different in him. He was calm and collected. Usually, she could see drool leaking near the lips of men when they see her. But the lips of the young man in front of her were very clean and were tightly lipped. When she neared him Lin Cian blow her mind off
"Who are you? What do you want?" asked Lin Cian in a quick phase with a calm expression. Her eyes widened because no one ever asked her name. Everyone would do so many things to her to get her attention but she turned down every one of them. Her interest was piqued when she met Lin Cian who didn't seem to care about her beauty. She was surprised by the fact Lin Cian's line of sight met her eyes and nowhere else. She almost got annoyed with the response of Lin Cian. She was the one who had much attention when she was alive but now she felt like she was tossed away. She thought Lin Cian was somehow suppressing his desire and wishes because his behavior and response showed him as an unusual man or a man who didn't know to appreciate beautiful things.
As for Lin Cian, he knew that the woman is beautiful but more than anything he was aware that the spirit of the beautiful woman was no good to him because if it is in search of him it will be up to no good. But that was not the actual case.
"Who are you?" the woman arrogantly asked after clearing her throat. Lin Cian didn't answer and continued to be mute.
She got angry but suppressed it because of the cold behavior of the person in front of her. She made a huge breath and once again started to speak "I am Gorgo a wandering spirit" she asked in a humble tone which made Lin Cian speak.
"I am Lin Cian what do you want from me?" the quick and straightforward question asked by Lin Cian made the woman stumble for a second but she maintained her image in front of him. Upon seeing that Lin Cian would never bend for her she decided to move "young man we will meet again" she told in an unconcerned and negligent tone while turning her back on Lin Cian and raising her hand to indicate her leave. After she disappeared Lin Cian sighed and the next moment he could feel his eyes and his body. He wondered how many minutes he was there. He realized that the woman was very powerful but he chose to clash his head with hers. As for his decision, he was unsure of why he did that.
