Chapitre 102: going to learn magic

According to the system, the awakening stones were graded into six different tiers. Each tier was separated by a single star. Alex was not yet certain if the same measure applied to other equipment.

An awakening stone was a treasure used to check which element a mage had an affinity with. It also checked the talent of a mage with that same element.

Talents are the potential of mages to cultivate an element. The higher the talent, the easier it was to advance with that element.

Talents were measured into six classes, too: A talent, B talent, C talent, D talent, E talent, and F talent.

Generally speaking, mages with f talent of an element were hopeless with that element as not even special magic artifacts or cultivation tools would be able to help them. E talent was manageable but still get rejected by most academies and factions as it would be seen as a waste of resources.
