Alex would surely have smacked her head if he was here and knew her thoughts; she was just tarnishing his reputation. He was an honorable mage for crying out loud; with six elements! What stupid cult? He was too good to join such folly.

All those thoughts began to give Becky a deep sense of danger. No matter how strong the feeling of love one felt was,fear and the shadow of death would easily overshadow it (for some people though). What Becky was feeling right now was a great dread towards alex; her instincts were yelling to her to stay away from Alex,but she did not want to.

"What have I gotten myself into?" She fell down after her legs gave up the duty of carrying her;she hugged her knees and just stared blankly at the empty space in front of her,not knowing what to do next;she did not even feel like doing anything either way, there was nothing she could do.
