"I think it's safe to say this ring and I have been through hell together. I am afraid we are stuck with each other" 

Pepper stared at the ring on her finger very hard.

"What are you doing?" Asher asked her 

"I am thinking maybe if I look at it long enough, it will get bigger" Pepper answered.

"Is it working?"

"Nope! Still the world's tiniest wedding ring but it's growing on me. Come on, take me home. I am sure, our little rascal is waiting" Pepper held the ring up as she talked, completely missing the smile that appeared on Asher's face when she called Starr, their little rascal at first but then she turned.

"What?" 

"You are falling in love with both me and my daughter" Asher told her.

"No, I am not. I literally just called her a rascal" Pepper reminded him.
