Mariela's POV

"I think we should call it a night, Ella," Archer whispered in my ear, and I could feel how my body reacted to him as I could feel his body heat next to mine. Archer's proximity will always make me feel excited and anxious at the same time.

"I am sorry if there is only one bed, Mariela, and we will be sleeping on the same bed, but if you want, I can sleep on the couch," Archer said, and I raised my head and found him staring at my face.

"I don't mind if we would be sharing a bed, Archer; your bed is so big. And I know I am safe with you." I responded, and I wanted to add I wished to sleep closer with him and make his strong arm be my pillow.

"Are you sure about that, Mariela?" He asked, and I nodded my head, and I could see the happiness on his face.

"Yeah, 100% sure," I responded with a wide grin on my face.
