Chapitre 665: Vincess
A whole day passed just like that and it was morning when Yuki thought that she should go to the Guild to finish her registration as she hadn't yet done it, all that she needed left was the paperwork, and she would be completely done. When she does, she will go straight and go do some quest that she finds interesting, though what she is really hoping to find is some difficult quest that can make her sweat even just a little, she is bored of doing easy quests already.
Since she had already had breakfast and had a good sleep, she was ready to do a lot of things today, so she was just really hoping to do something productive today. There was nothing for her to do in the restaurant and going to Delta's Boutique would serve her nothing as she could just wait for her reports using a Talisman that she gave her to contract her easier, as it was simply a hassle for her to go there once a week just to check on her products.
"Kurokami, Fumiko! I'll be going back to the guild to finish my paperwork, and after that, I will be doing some quests, that is if there is something there for me to do. But if there is nothing then I maybe just go home straight, but if I don't then I'm already doing something. So please expect me at least to be gone for a week, or at least a few days." Yuki said and after she got an answer from the two, she kissed both of them on their cheeks before finally leaving.
She arrived at the capital using her 'Black Light' once more and just expected her has gather a lot of attention when she got off, but just as normal she just ignored all of them before walking straight towards inside the guild, and when she was finally in front of the front desk, three people immediately stopped her from her tracks before she could even do something.
"So… what is it that you need from me," Yuki asked from behind her mask as she looked at the three people in front of her, but the two of them she had already met. They were Instructor Damian and the man who assisted her in signing up, as for the other one, she didn't know her, but she had a rough idea who it was.
"It's finally nice meeting you, Lady Yuki. My name is Vincess Laos, I'm the current guild master." Vincess said as she introduced herself, she even offered her hand to Yuki but when she didn't receive it back, she just awkwardly took it back.
"So what is it that you need? You still haven't answered my question?" Yuki simply ignored her as she had already guessed it from what she had read about the current guild master of the adventurers, the woman in front of her fits every single detail.
From the purple hair, golden eyes, and tall and voluptuous figure. But she wasn't really interested in her appearance, she was more interested in what she found out about her, from what she read about her, she found that she was actually a commoner, she didn't belong to any noble family at all.
But what was more surprising for her was how she easily conquered the Adventurer Guild with her battle prowess and commanding abilities and with just those two she had built herself a strong foundation that made a lot of people like her as she was a very kind person. Even after being one of the most respected and strongest people in the Kingdom, she still didn't forget where she came from, which was from the slums. She never became arrogant, she even held some charity from time to time to help the people who can't afford even just the basic necessities.
That was the biggest accomplishment in her life that cemented her name not just in the Melvis Kingdom, but basically in the whole of Nightingale, as even if she was just the branch Guild Master in the Silver Kingdom, she still holds so much power with that as she controls every request or basically just everything that is associated with any Adventurers. In the past, only Nobles or Royal Blood could take over it, but of course, it doesn't mean that just because they are Noble or Royal Blood, they can take it over it that easily.
They still need to prove themselves that they are the ones who should lead it, this is because the Adventurer Guild is considered as an outside force. For one to join it, they need to be of Royal Blood or Noble, but after they become the Guild Master, they will need to give up whatever inheritance that they are supposed to have and cut ties with their Family, in reality, it was just cutting their names since their families are still their real homes.
"I'm just here to congratulate you and personally give you your Adventurer Guild I.D. Because you are the very first person in the Silver Kingdom if not even in the whole of Nightingale to have achieved something like you did." Vincess congratulated her as she then took the card from the hands of the clerk before passing it to Yuki.
Yuki just looked at it for a few seconds before picking it up to inspect it, after seeing what her Rank was, she smiled behind her mask as it was just as she expected. She achieved the highest Rank possible which was the EX Rank.
"I see, then thanks for that then. However I do gotta ask you since you are the Guild Master, do you have any quest for me to do? I'm quite bored right now and I want to do something, so maybe you can give me a quest, though if you are giving me something that is lower than SS, then I'll pass." Yuki immediately asked as she just got straight to the point now that Vincess was already here.
It saves her time from going up the floors to just see if there are even any quests available for her to do, she was the Guild Master, the one who manages everything, so she knows everything that was happening inside. So it was just a quicker way to know.
"Oh… I didn't expect that, I thought that you would be more happy because as you know, you are currently the sixth EX Rank Adventurer in the Silver Kingdom. But then again, every person reacts differently to everything, so I'm not going to pry in any further." Vincess chuckled lightly before continuing.
"As for your question… there is actually a new Quest that just came in about a week ago, but it's only an SS Rank. As for the details… you will just need to hunt down the escaped prisoner, but for it to be SS Rank of course that is no ordinary prisoner. It is actually the one from the news… Miya, the traitor of the Silver Kingdom."
"Well… never mind then. I'm not interested in such a thing, even if it has a high reward, it doesn't matter. Guess I'll just wait for a few more weeks or months till a good quest finally appears" Yuki said, she then just turned around and casually walked towards the exit leaving everyone speechless.
