Chapitre 63: A special visitor

**Rhian's POV** 

I hated this situation, I hated that we would have to work with my mother's murderer. I hate that my sister and one of my closest friends were on the brink of death. I was supposed to remain calm, and level-headed, but calm was something I just couldn't muster right now.

I walked into the infirmary where David and Abigail were being monitored. Samuel was by David's side. He looked like he had aged twenty years overnight. A woman was sitting next to him, I assumed it was Samuel's wife and David's mother. 

We silently gave each other a knowing look as I sat down beside Abigail's bed. Doc had sedated them both so they looked like they were simply sleeping. Not fighting a gruesome poison working to kill them from the inside out. I was lost in my own world when I was startled by hands on my shoulder. It was David's mother.
