Chapitre 41: Remnants of Her Past

Professor Merlin ushered Ryo into his personal office. The Professor just held his shoulders, but he felt all his strength was being neutralized with just a touch.

'This man is the real deal! What realm is his cultivation level, Kuryu?' Ryo asked in his mind.

[Judging by his ability, at least he is already on the Peak Transcendence Realm.]

'I better behave myself rather than getting smacked by him,' added Ryo.

Professor Merlin glanced at Ryo when he sensed the boy was talking to himself.  Much to the old man's surprise, his telepathy ability couldn't penetrate Ryo's mind, which was fortified by something he couldn't understand.

Regardless, they soon arrived at the door of Professor Merlin's study after a while. The door to the room opened automatically and revealed a space that was not too wide or small. Instead, it was filled with old books arranged on the shelves. Ryo even noticed hundreds of other books piled carelessly on the floor.
