Looking at the destroyed Mondstadt in front of him, Primis narrowed his right eye.
"Primis: System."
He called but there was no response. Frowning he decided to look inside him.
But then from a corner of eyes he saw something on the watchtower on the right. It was some distance away from the plaza, but Primis saw it without an issue.
He took a jump in its direction and landed gently inside it.
CRUCH!!

He was then greeted by a gore scene.
A spider-like creature with four horns was feasting on a dead soldier.
The soldier's chest was already ripped open as blood vessels, blood, fluids were leaking out of it.
His ribs were already broken by the creature's hand because of which the organs were out in the open.
Though more than half of them were missing since it was already being eaten by the creature.
DRIP!!
DRIP!!
The creature seemed to have just finished eating the liver as its juice leaked on the open corpse.
It then used one of its hands and pulled out the heart while its other hand was pulling out the intestines.
BOOOM!!!!!!!!
At this time, another explosion occurred in Mondstadt down which illuminated the city in fire.
The creature would have ignored it other time but this time it was different. Because when the city was lit up, a shadow cast upon it prevented the light from covering the creature.
This was enough for the creature to realize someone was standing behind. So, it turned its head, and its whole appearance was visible now.
Such an appearance could send a chill down anyone's spine. Whether they were Human or Archons alike.

Its five hollow eyes were looking menacing at Primis.
Still, instead of attacking right away, the creature put the heart in its jaws and gobbled it down.
DRIP!!

Blood oozed down on the floor coloring it red even more.
Next, it also finished the intestine before finally getting up.
KRAR!!!
SWOOSH!!
The creature then jumped at Primis at the speed that no one except some Elites of Mondstadt could handle.
WHOOSH!
Though Primis just side-stepped, resulting in creature missing him and falling from the watchtower.
Primis: Hmm...…I now know why Mondstadt was destroyed. It's really That thing's doing which I saw after separating from Lumine and Paimon.
Even after watching the gore scene of creature feasting on the dead human, its appearance, and menacing gaze, Primis was still unfazed as ever.

Primis: Hmm?
Hearing this sound, Primis turned, walked to the edge, and looked down.
There he saw that the creature was hurriedly making its way back to the top using its claws that penetrate the thick wall of the tower without much issue.
Primis: As expected, even after falling from such height, it's still unscathed.........… Only 5-star weapons have any chance of penetrating through the creature's hard body. In other words, soldiers with lower star weapons are nothing more than cannon fodder or free food for them.
He then opened his hand and the weapon of the dead soldier behind him flew into his hand.
Twisting his hand which was holding a 2-star sword, Primis waited for the creature to reach him.
SWISH!!
Finally, the creature was in front of him, and swung its claw at him.
Though before it could hit him, Primis opened his glowing left eye.
BA-DUMP!
He felt all the brain cells opened up as the world he was in changed in his eyes.
It became darker and got covered in a blue hue.
He could see numerous solid, reddish black "zigzagging scribbles" like lines all over the world, even within the air itself, that looked like cracks and were emitting a sort of glow.
Even the creature in front of him was covered in those lines.
Primis then moved his hand.
SHIN!
SPLURT!!
FWOOSH!!
FWOOSH!!
THUD!!!
THUD!
The sword passed through creature as easily as hot knife passed through butter. The creature got cut in two and its parts flew past Primis and landed near the corpse of soldier behind.
Tuning and looking at the creature, Primis confirmed its death.
In normal scenario, once someone was cut in two whether it was human or other beings, they still had life left in them even for a second.
Especially this creature who had high vitality. Hence, it won't die that easily.
However, the moment his sword traced through one of the lines, the creature died instantly.
That's the horror of "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception" which allows the user to "perceive death," the conceptual "Death of an Existence," as visual signals in the form of Lines of Death and Points of Death.

He didn't get the time to think of something when he heard the sound of similar creatures all over the Mondstadt.
Moving his head back towards the city down, he saw many such creatures coming out from buildings, houses, shops, alleys, and some were even coming out from beyond the walls of the city, means the forest.
And they just kept on increasing in numbers with each passing second.
Primis: Hmmm. There are over hundreds of thousands.
Remaining nonchalant, he turned his attention on the Cidar Lake, the lake on which this city of Mondstadt was on while completely ignoring the creatures coming for him.
A tick moment went by and...
Primis: Here it comes.
BURST!!!
A huge column of water rose in the sky and the thing made its appearance.
It was 900 feet massive life form.
Mondstadt appeared nothing in front of it as it could destroy it by simply walking on it. And currently, it's two red visor-like eyes were glaring at Primis.
GRAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
It then let out a terrifying roar that resulted in the entire Mondstadt shaking violently before started crumbling and breaking pieces by pieces.
Soon enough one by one those pieces of Mondstadt sunk into the lake.
Primis was looking at everything in leisure with his hands in his jacket pockets.
Soon, it was the turn of the watchtower he was on.
The watchtower crumbled and fell in the water.
Within a matter of seconds, water covered Primis to his neck.
All this time, Primis attention never moved that huge life form.
In the end, the creatures reached Primis and launched themselves at him. It was also the time when Primis got fully engulfed in water and sunk into the depths of the lake along with the rest of the Mondstadt.

Primis' eyes fluttered open and he was greeted by an unfamiliar ceiling.
Primis: Back again. Huh.
"MY LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Hearing the scream of System Spirit in his mind, Primis sighed.
"My Lord, what happened to you! Why did you start screaming in pain all of sudden and fell unconscious after!"
"Primis: It's nothing."
"How could it be nothing!?"
"Primis: *sigh* I just had a premonition that's all."
"Premonition?"
"Primis: Yeah. About the coming enemy."
"Oh...Who is it?"
"Primis: You will know."
"Uh...Can't you at least give me a hint?"
"Primis: No."
"Lord, I hate you."
He could tell that System's Spirit was pouting inside but he didn't care. In the first place, he didn't reveal the real truth to System's Spirit.
'Primis: I didn't have any premonition or something. I was in reality thrown into the future by the very Will of the World itself. And I am certain that it's because it was trying to show me what would happen to Mondstadt if I don't decide to help.'
Sighing, he shook his head inwardly.
'Primis: Sorry but for now, I don't have any intention of interfering. My hands are already tied by other things. Like the Beasts. That was the reason why I know I was not in some kind of dream. Because if I was then Beast II would have already attacked me.'
Looking around he found himself in a room.
Removing his quilt, he stood up and cracked his body a little.
"Primis: How long I have been 'sleeping'?"
"For a day."
"Primis: Hmm. It's surprising that Lumine is not here. Knowing her she won't have leave my side until I woke up."
"You have no idea how freaked out she was when she came to know that you have fallen unconscious. She thought Stormterror was the one responsible for your condition and was about to go after it in rage. Good thing that Paimon, Amber, and Yuuya stopped her in the last second."
"Primis: Must be because Amber told her that Knights of Favonius are thinking of a way to handle Stormterror issue and can use help her."
"Exactly. By the way, she had already completed her first ascension."
"Primis: It seems that she was feeling disappointed at her current strength."
"Mn. She was saying that someone gave her a temporary boost that helped her to cope up against Stormterror."
"Primis: Where is she right now?"
"Amber took her and Yuuya to Knights of Favonius Headquarters so that they can think of a measure."
"Primis: Good. Now that she and Paimon are away, I can go somewhere to check something."
"Uh...…I don't think it would be possible."
"Primis: Hmm?"
"She was not leaving you alone worried that something would happen to you again. So..."
"Primis: So?"
"At her request, one Knight of Favonius will always stand by your side as your guard."
"Primis: ...…Who is it?"
"Open the door, My Lord."
Walking over to it, Primis opened it.
CREAK!!
When he did so, he heard a voice.
???: You are awake.
Turning his head, he saw the one Lumine asked to keep an eye on him.
He saw a tall and imposing proud figure standing like a sword. The sharpness of her eyes can be seen as intimidation.
She wore a black headband above her bangs with a four-pointed silver, white, and blue hairpin to her left.
Her outfit consisted of a blue cape on her right shoulder, a backless black leotard covered in white on top, white sleeves, a blue tie, a pair of black gloves with blue palms, blue stockings, and thigh-high boots. Her leotard had a silver symbol of her clan on each hip, and the white cover on top was secured below her breasts with a black belt. Her boots were accented with silver with an additional strap, silver heels with spurs, and blue soles. Her Cryo Vision was pinned to the front of her cape.
