Chapitre 86: The Marriage

Damien's lips curled up. 

"Of course not. There is no way I would be tricking you. And I really want you to marry me."

Leslie let go of him at that and asked, "Why?"

Even after all this time, she was confused about the reason. All the thinking got her to nowhere.

"Are you pretending to be oblivious? Of course because I am interested in you," he stated.

She scoffed.

As if. If that was the case, he could have simply used her until he got bored of her.

Following that, Damien didn't allow for any excuses on her part before taking her over to the courthouse and register their marriage. Once she was out of the building, she stared at the marriage ceremony in disbelief.

She honestly felt disheartened.

At the same time, it wasn't that bad.

No matter how much anger she held towards Damien in her heart, a part of her liked him once and greatly at that. And maybe all the threats was taken as an excuse on her part.
