Chapitre 68: The Memories

"The usual reason. The coward has gone back to hiding," answered Rye, "but you know, it makes me upset when you question me like that. It's almost as though you don't want me to exist."

"I see both you and Valerie in the same way. You needn't worry about it. How long had it been since you took over?"

"More than a week. My dear Laura, you should give up hope on her this time around. I don't think she will be showing up."

That made Laura on the other side be alarmed. She slammed her hand on the table as she stood up. There was worry present in her voice and stated, "Why haven't you come to talk to me about it then?"

"Why should I? She can have the body to herself for months, and that's not an issue. But if I am here for one week, suddenly, it is seen as a negative case. You shouldn't be this way after telling me that both of us are same in your eyes. It will make you a little too hypocritical."
