Chapitre 216: Store Front

"You look annoyed. Did you have a nightmare?"

"N-no."

While I stare at the ceiling of Nalc's room, she puts her chin on my chest with a worried look on her face.

Currently, it's a weekend so the twins are back home outside the walls with their brother.

I on the other hand, stayed behind here in Nalc's store as a security, or should have been.

"Shouldn't you be outside the wall today?"

When I asked her that, she closes her eyes with an exasperated sigh, showing her reluctance to answer the question.

"Mom and dad are home today so there's no real reason for me to be there."

"Isn't it supposed to be the opposite?"

"We don't have the best of relationships."

"I see..."

Must've been a horrible topic to talk about because it soured her mood.

"I've been meaning to ask, what's the difference between. Goldie and an honorary one?"
