As her tears continued to flow, I inadvertently reached out to try and wipe the tears away, only for my hand to pass through her and I touched the carcass of the Progenitor instead.

[I was mauled... ravaged until my body crumbled and my child was extracted out of my carcass.]

[As I am a Progenitor who governs the world of nightmares, I cannot die physically.]

"But whatever was done to you, it sealed you into this world, wasn't it?"

She gives a quiet nod.

"Why did you call for me?"

While her story is quite unfortunate, I don't know what to do. At least not yet.

After hearing my question, she looks at me with an apologetic look.

[I brought you here to ask for your help.]

"What kind of help?"

Before saying anything, she looks at me straight in the eyes with desperation.
