The world changed, and with it, the people. The sludge villain incident never happened as the security was getting better with each passing day and Midoria did not meet and much less inspire and impress All Might to make him the successor for OFA.
All Might on the other hand was on a steady path to recovery with Yuki's quirk. While speaking of quirks, Yuki did face an intense ordeal of media attention which made him 'The' most popular person on the face of the earth. Yuki's ideals started spreading like wildfire and it razed wantonly across the globe and quite specifically in America, the land of freedom.
The revolution was also used by many unsavory people as a means to their own ends, but Yuki did not sit back and watched as it happened. He globalized his security company and dealt with each and every uprising while squashing the vile scum of the society underfoot and made sure to make a spectacle of power as he did to send a message, "don't you dare" all over his actions.
Time did not wait as it kept passing as the seasons changed and years went by, Momo enrolled in UA, Mellissa was like a fish in water in the THANATOS while Himiko was having fun doing charity work and was almost always in some other nation helping people or doing disaster relief or something like that.
But nothing was ever meant to be perfect, Yuki was facing the downsides of having his mortal body that was no longer capable of withstanding his angelic powers, each passing day his body was deteriorating and there was a limit to what Avalon could do when his divine powers were constantly corroding his mortal vessel.
He was growing frail by the day and it was leaving a mark on him, his father used all his connections to bring doctors or quirk holders who could help him, but none were successful, only stop-gap measures. Duct taping a dam that was on its last legs was not the most brilliant solution, but that was the best that could be done at this state.
Yuki knew that he would definitely die, but he could still manage to stick around for a decade or two if things were to go along this pace, but fate never follows any mortal plans. He knew he had to deal with AFO and each day lost was a day where he would grow weaker and his enemy would regain and surpass the powers he once held.
The Yaoyorozu Manor was not the same anymore, while everyone had a smile plastered on them 24/7, it just did not feel right, even an amateur could discern that they were faking their expressions. Well, who could blame them?
How could they still be happy and carefree knowing that their young master/ family member was slowly walking towards his death, each month would leave its mark on him. But the worst thing was that the one who was in this mess never was there a shred of fear, distress, regret, or pain in him.
To him, it felt natural, a normal course of action, perhaps because death was only feared because it was an unknown realm and the attachments that people could not bear to leave behind. But for him, it was just another Tuesday just because he 'knew' that he would not die in the truest sense of death and it's just another world, a mission and an adventure awaiting him.
Eri was the one who took it the hardest, she would not bear to stay away from him even for a minute and Yuki did not mind either, he taught her from the scratch and there was never a dull moment with those two.
Just when Yuki was about to leave Eri's room after bidding her good night, he felt a chill running down his spine and it took no longer than that to make him realize that shit's gonna hit the fan.
BOOM !!
The sound of a massive explosion brought the mansion in fear and panic, the security took prompt action and started evacuating the people in the Manor while the Immediate Response Team rushed to find the reason behind it. Yuki rushed back to Eri's side and took her in his embrace as he jumped through the window and unfurled his wings to fly above the manor to get a clear view of the whole situation.
But what greeted him was a mini-army of a rag-tag bunch of villains coming out of black portals, by the courtesy of Kurogiri, while a dozen tough-looking nomu stood outside the entrance with Shigaraki and a giant he deduced as Gigantomachia.
Yuki took out his phone and dialed the emergency comms number as he took Eri towards the shelter.
"Sir, we have hostiles around the perimeter, and 30 of them are black labeled without the buff-bird-like people. All branches are sending in reinforcements, The Special Forces and All Might have also been notified." Came the voice of the guard responsible for comms.
"Very well, evacuate all civilians within 5 kilometers and get me a set of combat gear," Yuki said with an expecting smile on his face.
Eri who was within his embrace, cutely stuck her head out, trying to look around. Yuki positioned her in his left arm and freed his right, "Eri, do you want to do something really cool?"
Eri who was thinking about a lot of things in her pretty little head nodded absent-mindedly, while Yuki extended his hand outwards as a halo lit up above his head.
A ball of light formed over Yuki's palm, he raised his palm and the orb of light increased in size and radiance. The orb shone like a mini-Sun and floated above till it reached around a hundred feet above the ground, the guards, the maids, the workers, the villains, the name, along with everyone in the city witnessed the orb of light floating in the sky radiating in a brilliant shade of white.
Then it began, bullets of light started shooting down the villains, it was a beautiful scene that looked like raining light, a truly captivating sight, but for the League of Villains, it was just the opposite, it was horrifying, a nightmare brought to life were attacks of light kept barraging them without a pause, without relent, without mercy.
But no lives were taken, the ones who were hit by the light had two kinds of reactions, the allies felt a kind of warmth embracing them as their wounds healed and they felt energized while the enemies felt the worst pain that was well beyond their preconceptions. They fell like a bunch of stacked dominos, incapable of any further actions for a long while.
The scene was getting better as the security personnel took the criminals and bound them, but the nomus and Shigaraki did not have a single scratch on them, a blue barrier covered them and like an eclipse, the orb of light overhead was swallowed by what looked like a mist of darkness. And before him stood the man who was responsible for both the actions.
Donning a classy suit with a messed up ugly-potato-looking head, clapping as he walked over the air to slowly approach Yuki.
"Well, things just got a lot more interesting." Yuki mused as looked AFO in the eye.
I have read through Soul Land 1 & 2...
And I don't think there is much to do in part 2...
So, I am planning a part 1 and 3 to use in the fic.
PS: I just thought about a nice HP fanfic...
Well, there are two ideas, one for Marauders generation and another for cannon generation...
I'll make the drafts and let you guys decide which to post.
